What to Expect from the Initial Consultation
You will get up to two hours at your home to discuss as many spaces as you'd like, we like to walk the entire home in order to understand the context of your home.
This consultation is to benefit you, so if that means offering design advice, showing us how you live in the space, and/or learning more about the "next steps" or "Full-Service" options, we can work on whatever is best for you. While in your home, Mary will ask a lot of questions, take notes and photos so that she can immediately start preparing what needs to be done with her team.
During the consultation Mary will also review the Design Process and the Letter of Agreement that is used for every design project. A signed agreement and payment are accepted at this time to commence with the project immediately.
After the Initial Consultation, our team will write up a written assessment of the discussion and email them to you, so that you can reference them at your convenience.
How to prepare for the Initial Consultation to maximize results
Gather "Inspiration Images" either from Pinterest, Instagram, Houzz or magazine articles to review with Mary during your consultation to help express your design style and vision for the space.
Complete the Style/Design Assessment that we will send you after the Discovery call.
Gather all parties involved in the design project and have a conversation about your level of investment for the project before Mary arrives. It's best to discuss how much time, energy and money you think you'd like to invest so that Mary can determine which design service would be best for you.
